Espresso Machine

1.Press the start button.

2.Wait until the indicator light on the coffee button turns red, it means that the coffee machine is ready.

3.Fill the filter basket with ground coffee.

4.Install the filter holder (portafilter) by correctly entering the basket into the slots, hold the handle to the left and then turn the filter holder to the right to bring the handle to the center.

6. Position 2 espresso cups under the nozzles.

7. Press the coffee button, note it does not STOP pouring on its own, make sure to press it again once your desired amount of espresso has been made!

Milk Frother

The steps:

  1. Fill a container with the desired amount of milk.

  2. Wait until the indicator light on the steam / milk button turns red, it means that the appliance is ready.

  3. Put the steam wand in the milk and wait for the milk to foam.

  4. Add hot milk and mousse to your coffee.

*The white milk frother is normally on the countertop or located directly under the coffee machine.

Dishwasher

Here is the best settings for our dishwasher

  1. Turn on the dishwasher

  2. Select the "NORMAL WASH" cycle

  3. Select the option "SANI RINSE"

  4. Press «START»

*Do not forget to put a biodegradable detergent pac !

FOLLOW THE CHECK-OUT CHECK LIST

We would greatly appreciate an organization of the house before you leave. We do not have hotel cleaning services and the cleaning fee you are charged upon booking is used to clean the surfaces of the house, wash the laundry, clean the hot tub and sauna, and does not cover dirty dishes and garbage disposal above what is normal for your stay.

THE CHECK-OUT CHECK LIST

  1. Strip the beds and toss the sheets and towels down the laundry chute in the bathrooms. This helps you find hidden items under and around beds too!

  2. Wash all the dishes and bring your garbage to the bins at the top of the driveway as this avoids insect and rodent infestations.

  3. Do a hot tub check and set the temperature to 98 degrees and make sure the cover is closed.

  4. Close the main room blinds.

  5. Lock all the windows and doors in the house.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I BROKE AN ITEM or IT GOT VERY DIRTY

Please take pictures of items we will need to replace and email them to hello@raliarentals.com. This is one of the most appreciated acts of care you can give our home. We want to keep the place beautiful for you for many years and need your help with what needs replacing, care, or removal.

House Rules

  •  Bringing outside guests on the property without the permission of the owners is forbidden. We do not allow parties.  

  • You can have a maximum of 10 guests staying in the Chalet unless we have a special arrangement with you. 

  • If the hot tub water needs to be replaced after your stay you are responsible for the replacement cost which is around $500 depending on the availability of a special hot tub water. 

  • Please do not smoke in the house. IF you are smoking outside the disposal of cigarettes is required to be in an ashtray (none are provided) and then put in the garbage. In other words, no trace of cigarette smoking should be left.

  •  No shedding dogs in the house please. Dogs can remain in the entrance of the home if possible or outside. We also ask that all dog poops be removed before leaving. 

  • We live on a quiet lake and our neighbours value peace and quiet. We also must stress that Chalet Renne is not “party-central”. We welcome you to come and have fun, just not at the expense of us and our neighbours!
